This is just about perfect….a wonderful concert filmed with taste and style..performed by the great Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) with panache and exquisite musicianship…just lovely. Their is also a BONUS 1hr BBC documentary on this amazing singer/songwriter.
AND..if that isn’t enough for your $15…another section of the DVD has a 15 minute making of for his latest album and its really terrific. It also has a couple of beautifully filmed videos for his new songs and Cat/Yusuf sits on a couch with a nylon string guitar and plays solo versions of Peace Train and Midday….and Where do the Children Play?…wow what an embarrasment of riches..allmost 3 hours of glorious music!!! This is a perfect companion to the existing film from 1976 Majikat…just 30 years later!!! I can’t stress enough the quality of the production…its just filmed stunningly beautifully…first class in every way and on top of it…Cat/Yusuf emerges as one of the kindest souls to walk the planet and most talented as well…

I purchased this DVD from Amazon out of London about a month ago. The concert portion is excellent; the documentary (BBC) – is excellent and the sit down sessions with music is excellent.
It is so nice to have him back again. This is an excellent piece of art -for any Cat Stevens fan.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful new songs, great old footage and an interview along with his biography and life’s work. The concert is extremely well played and there’s bonus footage with yusuf on a couch playing a few old faves!
There are new music videos in here as well. This set was put together beautifully!

This “session” is a full scale concert in London. The set was designed by Yusef and it is a lovely porch with palms and unique lighting. In Yusef we see Cat Stevens, but mellowed, aged like fine wine. From the first moment I was taken into his world, a world of caring concern for peace and children.
The music is even more touching than before. He is backed by excellent musicians who weave a tapestry for his song lines. He describes his life and his transformation in “A Few Good Songs”–a walk through his childhood streets.
You will play this DVD many times when you need peace and beauty.

It’s a great DVD…. the performance is pretty good… the music is fantastic… The DVD extras are nice….
Great to See Yusuf/Cat back… his performance is great. His voice is just as great as it was during his prime… Alun Davis plays a pretty good guitar with Yusuf just like the good ol days…
Choice of songs for the set are pretty good… though I wished he had included ‘Longer Boats’, ‘Moonshadow’ , ‘But I might Die Tonight’
