I am sure the concert was much better than the CD, but without the concert, it is just another CD. If you like popular music, then this is a great CD, but if you were seeking to hear some awesome Yanni instrumentals, buy a different CD. Also, the majority of the songs are in Spanish, so if you do not understand the language, neither will you understand the singing. I recommend listening to the samples, then pick and download the ones you like. I own almost all of Yanni’s CDs, but this one has been disappointing. If the singing was in English, and if some of the songs were not so ghetto, I would have been able to sit and listen to the whole thing through; but as it is, I equate it to listening to mainstream radio; all it needs is some commercials mixed in. To me, the voices only seemed to drag the music down, too much of a contrast; as with a voice of another heart, with indifferent emotions and dissimilar expression.

I stil prefer Yanni’s the first/live at the acropolis and second/tribute dvd to Yanni Voices,because there are neither huge symphony orchestra nor spectacular stage in it,plus Christian Castro-Es Amor still not in this collection.Quite a bit disappointed.

The show may have been recorded live but it has been heavily edited (a) to include Yanni’s narrative and (b) to separate the Latin singers from “the voices”. I sincerely doubt that the actual live show was the way it is on the DVD. Too bad.

I really liked this video, however the sound quality was bit off and made it a little bit unenjoyable to watch which is a shame cause Yanni by the far the best pianist in the world.

The best DVD ever. I especially loved the violin player – Samvel Yervinyan. In one word the concert was spectacular
