As Buffy acompanies Dawn on her first date at the new Sunnydale High, Giles continues Willow’s magic education in England. But while Buffy is surprised to be offered a guidance counselor job, Willow is shocked to experience a horrific future vision of the Hellmouth.
Willow returns to Sunnydale and Giles soon follows with word that the Watcher’s Council has been destroyed. Determined to make one last stand, Buffy and her allies gather for the upcoming battle, yet nothing can prepare them for The First and his robed Bringers, who are killing all the Potential Slayers- and anyone else who gets in their way.The seventh and final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer begins with a mystery: someone is murdering teenage girls all over the world and something is trying hard to drive Spike mad. Buffy is considerably more cheerful in these episodes than we have seen her during the previous year as she trains Dawn and gets a job as student counselor at the newly rebuilt Sunnydale High. Willow is recovering from the magical addiction which almost led her to destroy the world, but all is not yet well with her, or with Anya, who has returned to being a Vengeance demon in “Same Time, Same Place” and “Selfless,” and both women are haunted by their decisions.
Haunting of a different kind comes in the excellent “Conversations with Dead People” (one of the show’s most terrifying episodes ever), in which a mysterious song is making Spike kill again in spite of his soul and his chip. Giles turns up in “Bring on the Night” and Buffy has to fight one of the deadliest vampires of her career in “Showtime”. In “Potential” Dawn faces a fundamental reassessment of her purpose in life.
Buffy was always a show about female empowerment, but it was also a show about how ordinary people can decide to make a difference alongside people who are special. And it was also a show about people making up for past errors and crimes. So, for example, we have the excellent episodes “Storyteller”, in which the former geek/supervillain Andrew sorts out his redemption while making a video diary about life with Buffy; and “Lies My Parents Told Me,” in which we find out why a particular folk song sends Spike crazy. Redemption abounds as Faith returns to Sunnydale and the friends she once betrayed, and Willow finds herself turning into the man she flayed. Above all, this was always Buffy’s show: Sarah Michelle Gellar does extraordinary work here both as Buffy and as her ultimate shadow, the First Evil, who takes her face to mock her. This is a fine ending to one of television’s most remarkable shows. –Roz Kaveney

Let me start by saying I used to think this show was kinda cool. I thought it might be something different. No, it’s nothing different. Just another corny teenage-based heroes VS. villains show. If I want to see an awesome heroes VS. villains show, cartoon network shows the greatest shows ever at like 10:00 – 4:00 at night. Again, I sort of liked Buffy for a while but then something became clear to me. The constant teenage sarcasm and badly done demons got to me. I mean, this is a great example of what I mean by teenage sarcasm : “The whole me save the world thing”. It got so annoying to keep on hearing Buffy make uneccessary remarks like that as well as the other characters. Gilles is cool, and so is Zander, and even Spike and Angel seemed pretty cool to me also, but everybody else I couldn’t stand one bit. Plus the demons they put in. They’ve got human faces with horns like a bull and green or purple skin. C’mon, that’s not my idea of a cool looking demon, folks. My idea of a cool demon is with real dark greyish black skin, red eyes, no nose, and maybe spikes down its back and teeth that are as sharp as knives. These demons are slow, all of them are the same, and none of them are cool. Especially the vampires. They are so cheesy. Another thing is I’m getting the feeling all anybody cares about in this show are the characters stupid teen relationships and the most disturbing thing is how Willow and that other girl are lesbens. That’s so sick. At that point I lost every bit of respect for the show and just stopped watching it alltogether. I stopped watching it mostly when I saw how much of a brat Buffy is. I mean toward the end of the entire show she’s really not a teenager anymore, but I’ve always thought nobody matures these days until at least age 25. Until then they’re just stupid drug obsessed punks with no respect for anyone or anything. And that’s how Buffy always seemed. This show almost is like a stupid spoof of good superhero shows like my favorites which are anime’s. If there was one channel deticated only to Japanese anime’s all day, every day, I’d be so happy. I mean I really don’t even turn my TV on at all during the day until at least 7:00, when the good disney channel shows come on. Those shows may be about teenagers, but at least they show the good side of teens instead of what this program shows. I mean, here’s the thing. This show has definately had some good episodes, like those guys with only symbols for eyes, or that one episode that came earlier on, with the zombies awakened by that mask, that was a pretty good episode. I mean, if there’s a TV villain that actually scares me, it’s a well-done villain. There’s a really good show called X-Files which is a mature adult based show with actual good bad guys and every episode is good. Of coarse, like the Anime’s, the X-Files is only on on tuesdays and wednesdays, and it’s like 10:00 – 3:00 so I can barely even stay awake to see it. I think TV is getting ridiculous nowadays. Nothing but stupid reality shows all the time, and when those are over, trash like this comes on. Only in the hours after midnight are there good shows, when I’m asleep. Something needs to be done. TV is starting to focus only on the teenagers and what they want. Screw teenagers. They’re stupid. All they care about are dirty sex, drugs, cuss words, and violence. Mature people like me come first. We need the shows that I mentioned earlier to be on all day. Even if they have to make a new channel strictly for X-Files and another for the anime’s, so be it. Just as long as I have a reason to keep my TV anymore.

God, I was so disappointed with this show’s ending!!!!!! Here they are fighting the “first” but then you never even see the “first” in person!!!! Why is that?!!!!!! I was hoping Buffy would fight a big ugly thing in the last episode but it’s just a battle with all those vampire demons, and no “first”.
Plus I don’t know what those potential slayers were all about. That made no sense to me at all. Another thing I could never tolerate was Willow. I hate her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She’s real annoying, and she’s a lesbian for god’s sake. That time I saw her make out with that other lesbian I almost had to vomit. I started watching the show many weeks later to get my mind off that hideous scene but then I saw them make out again!!!!!!!!!! I almost kicked my TV screen in!!!!!!!! Oh well, that must be the work of the devil getting into Joss Weddon’s mind and giving him that aweful idea like that. Anyway, I just wish there was more to the ending, like an actual “first”.

BtVS has been my fav since it’s first season, Sarah michelle put on a great fight at the final Battle, though with alot of helps from the stuntwomen.
in all seasons Gellar has acted really good, but the ending i’ll never forget. blood, pain, vampires, demons, it was like great.
Man-kind VS The VaMps.
it was great and Dromatic, Actionness, and Bloody.
Although the romance from Buffy&Spike, took the most of my Attention.
buffy really Rules, but now that buffy’s over Angel Rules, and now Angel’s over too! but i have a confidence in Kristin, and in WB, and In Whendon, they’ll bring it Back, i’m Sure!
I’m with Lisa & Kristin, And i hope WB & Whendon Are too.

When Alyson Hannigan was working on American Wedding, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Do you think Alyson Hannigan ever invited any cast members from American Wedding to see Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Sarah Michelle Gellar looks like Everybody Loves Raymond’s Monica Horan, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson, but she reminds me of Willow Rosenberg. On the set Sarah Michelle Gellar is Buffy Summers but off the set she is Willow Rosenberg. Nicholas Brendon Looks like Ben Affleck, Freddie Prinze Jr, Spider-Man Peter Paker, Ray Romano and American Pie star Chris Klein and Thomas Ian Nicholas Nicholas. Brendon reminds me of Adam Sandler, Freddie Prinze Jr, Carson Daly, American Pie’s Chris Klein and Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tobey Maguire, Kevin James and Ray Romano. Alyson Hannigan looks like Alias star Jennifer Garner, Cameron Diaz, Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Michelle Trachtenberg and Angel star Amy Acker. Alyson Hannigan reminds of Alias star Jennifer Garner, Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Michelle Trachtenberg and Angel star Amy Acker. Anthony Steward Head reminds of 007 star Peirce Brosnan. Anthony Steward Head played James Bond from 1995-2003 he could done it better than ever than Pierce Brosnan did. Michelle Trachtenberg looks like Alias star Jennifer Garner and Buffy the Vampire Slayer Alyson Hannigan. Michelle Trachtenberg reminds of Alias star Jennifer Garner, Buffy the Vampire Slayer Alyson Hannigan and Angel star Amy Acker. When I watched the last season of Buffy the Vampire it was the greatest season. I watched it that season and the others one hundred times. I watched the series finale, that was the best series finale I ever saw, that was the highest rated episode I saw. Of all the finales on Buffy their was, The series finale was the best, because they work together, they help each other out. You don’t see that on Angel or any other team shows. Buffy the Vampire Slayer wasn’t a show, it was a vacation, everybody was so friendly and nice there. Sunnydale was like East Great Falls, Pleasantville, Mandrake Falls, Mayberry and X-Files at once. It was the best show I ever watch.
