This was advertised as being like The L Word. I disagree. The story line was boring. Also, reading the subtitles was difficult because the spoken language is so fast.

AWESOME movie! If you’re looking for a movie night and don’t mind it being long, I recommend this movie, that is if you can sit through the subtitles
. Great story line, funny, and hot girls. You won’t find any steamy erotic scenes but definately eye candy. This is one of the better lesbian movies and you won’t regret it.

“Girl Seeks Girl” (“Chica Busca Chica”)
A Lesbian Soap Opera
Amos Lassen
It was only a matter of time that “The L Word” would have other countries producing shows like it. Spain gives us “Girl Meets Girl” (Wolfe Video) about the love lives of lesbians in Madrid and it is addictive. The girls are gorgeous and the plot is full of twists and turns. Nines, a bartender at a lesbian bar, has sex with Monica who is just a real cutie. However, she runs away when things seem to get serious. Then along comes Carmen, straight but curious, who manages to mesmerize Nines. There is only one problem here–she is Monica’s roommate. Nines falls for Carmen and tries to pursue her but Carmen has a boyfriend and Monica has already placed her claim on her. Monica soon gets a new roommate, Ana, who is in need of coaching in the area of female/female romance
The dialog is hot and the movie is great fun. There are lots of laughs and it is hard not to fall for this wonderful film.
