I cannot understand how any intelligent person can enjoy this poorly done movie! Most of the performances are stilted and self-serving, and the unstructured script is filled with lame jokes that never land and one-dimensional characters that behave more like enemies than friends.

This movie is mean-spirited and disgraceful. And it presents a completely negative view of homosexual men and their friends. I was excited to see this film, until I actually saw it. I would not recommend this film to ANYONE. If you want to see a good romantic comedy (an ambitious genre to assign to this film), then see “When Harry Met Sally” or “Moonstruck.” “Eating Out” panders to the lowest common denominator of gay life, and it’s movie-making at its very worst.

Just no. The acting was uninspired, except Verraros who was OK. The script was worse, full of badly pulled of cliches and pointless oneliners. Such a stereotypical description of gay life with and ending that stretched the point of coincidence and then snapped. Give it a miss. Really do.

This is one of those gay movies that tries REALLY hard to be current, packing in as many pop culture references as possible. Too bad, it’s not nearly as clever as it thinks it is.

That being said, there is a hotness factor with the two male leads, and the movie ends with everybody happy in that cliche romantic comedy sorta way.

Badly written, badly acted. Entire sequences don’t make any sense (i.e., dinner table scene). Complete and utter waste of time.

Shockingly bad. Why in the world was this movie even made?
