This DVD is okay, you see and hear different chords being used to learn in the lessons. It was not what I expected though.

ok, on the whole the DVD is pretty good except for some sly marketing.
The DVD Fender presents : Getting started on Acoustic guitar is exactly the same as the Fender presents: Getting started on electric guitar. In fact the lessons on the Acoustic DVD are don on an electric guitar.
The DVD starts with, the lessons on this DVD will be taught on an electric guitar – then hey presto, the DVDs are the same from here on in.
Aside the DVD I gave the product 4 stars because the content is good. OK it lacks some theory but it gets you playing and learning. Lets be honest, that’s what most people want to do, and that’s why its called getting started on….
Learning some chords and scales should spark additional interest, and maybe then you can learn more on theory etc.
