This is simply the one of the best, if not the best, television show to come out of any country. A truly hilarious show of a couple of women who are completely in their own worlds, they smoke, they booze, they curse and all while wearing high fashion.
They’ve gone down roads that even the shows that were paved by them won’t dare to go. It doesn’t matter how often you watch these episodes, they never get old. Every character is just as outrageous as the next one.
A definite must see for everyone. And with this box set, you won’t have to run around looking for the other seasons and specials. It’ll all be in one set. BRAVO!!!

The packaging is great but, as in the original release, the studio neglected to provide the US audiences with the correct format for the New York special (“Gay”). The UK-issued version of the DVD was in 16:9 widescreen format, and this set unfortunately only has the full-screen, 4:3 format for this special. Would have been nice to finally get it right but the responsible people at Warner Home Video have obviously not paid attention to this rather important detail. Still, a great-looking set for AbFab enthusiasts.

Without question, “Absolutely Fabulous” is one of the most watched television series by gay men and it is severely missed. But now you can have all of “AbFab” in a deluxe DVD set of nine disks and beautifully packaged. It comes in a silver tufted case with a faux leopard skin bookmark and it is every bit as tacky as Patsy and Edina. It is all of the series and all of the shows and specials.
This is the definitive collection and as I said, it includes all five seasons plus “The Last Shout”, “The New York Special” and “White Box” plus over four hours of extras. The extras include “Behind the Scenes”. “How to be Absolutely Fabulous”, a look at the life of Edina, “Before AbFab–French and Saunders”, the original pilot, a look at Joanna Lumley (she was gorgeous), out takes which will have you on the floor, and commentaries. This is an absolutely fabulous collection.
