The Championship Workout is a great full body workout with 5 rounds of cardio and strength training.

The Undercard is a concentrated strength-training workout of just 3 rounds.

Easy-to-follow instructions, a challenging workout that does not require special equipment, and a high energy soundtrack will keep you on track and motivated. Burn fat and increase endurance while developing 6 pack abs, building your chest and back muscles, and defining your triceps, biceps, legs, and glutes.

This is a work out I can actually do. The instructor is easy to understand, and on the harder moves he provides alternatives for beginners. The sound and music are good quality-unlike some of the other workout DVDs I’ve tried. I like the fact that it doesn’t require a bunch of extra equipment. The championship work out is tough but has good ab exercises, and there is a shorter workout that concentrates on strengthn training. I would definitely recommend it for someone looking for a good cardio workout, good core exercise, and solid overall muscle training.

I had been looking for a way to get an effective workout without hitting a gym, and this does it. It’s got good cardio and abs, and the toning hits all the major muscle groups. The instructor, Nicholas Stone, keeps a fast pace, so you fit a lot into your time. I live in a fairly small apartment and don’t have any trouble with space when doing the workout. It doesn’t require any extra equipment, which is great. I bought a couple other men’s workout DVDs and was surprised at how much stuff they expected you to have on hand–a bench, a full weight set, a punching bag. With this one, the main workout doesn’t call for anything extra. If you want to add dumbbells to the second workout, you can, but it isn’t required. I recommend committing to doing the half hour Championship workout 3 times a week. Fit the undercard in when you only have 15 minutes to spare. I’ve been doing that and getting in a workout 4-5 times a week. I’m definitely noticing results. I have better endurance, and my abs feel tighter.

I love this workout DVD! I bought this MMA workout DVD for my husband but ended up doing it myself, too. The cover looks pretty intense, but it’s actually a great basic workout. I kickbox at a gym and this has the same kind of high energy pace.

There is excellent instruction and a lot of variety. Unlike some of the other MMA workout DVDs, this is a straightforward workout designed for a regular person–it’s definitely not going to make you an MMA fighter. Although lot of the moves are what you might see in an MMA fight and that what keeps it interesting–what you get instead is really good cardio conditioning and an awesome full body workout. Between the two workouts, you get abs, shoulders, chest, bicep, tricep, back, glutes and leg muscle toning. My favorite exercise is muay thai knee strikes and I love the 5th round ab workout on the championship round. Overall, there is a lot of transition from standing to floor and back, which gets your heart rate up. They even add a heart rate calculator, so you can make sure you’re exercising in a good range.

When I’ve completed the workout, I’m shocked that I’ve gone 5 rounds. We started doing this workout right before the holidays, and I’m really glad we did. We’re both already starting to feel a difference. We’re resolving to exercise at least 5 times a week, and this makes keeping that commitment a lot easier.
