Nice Job, Nice DVD. Glad I bought it. A lot of crap out there, this isn’t one of them!

I was really disappointed with this DVD. I felt it didn’t offer much of a workout and I’m a beginner. I used only once and now it is just collecting dust. I bought Spin and Slim instead and love that one so much more.

I recently bought a spin bike and knew nothing about how to achieve results with it. This DVD quickly got me riding effectively and it is a butt kicking workout. Sherman is a good educator and makes me feel as though I can really do this!

I was excited to try out Robert Sherman’s cycle challenge workout and wasnt disappointed with the spinning part. However the music can do some improving. As for the toning exercises, he talks way too much and assumes that everyone following his workout is more than a beginner. I appreciate the fact that he explains the muscle he is working on with regard to proper form but there is no need to explain further than that. The flow is too slow to feel the benefits of the toning segment. I was waiting too long in between sets before he begins the next move.

I love this instructional DVD… it’s like having a personal trainer right in your home. Sherman does not take you on a wild ride, rather he provides a well-paced cardio and strength training routine with breaks just when you need them, along with stretches which allow enough time to catch your breath. The core training segment is also very good but since I don’t have some of the equipment which is used, I only do the spin segment.
