This is a great tutorial. I’ve had back problems for quite a few years, and I was delighted to see the yoga and hardcore exercises packed into this video. I can’t say it completely healed up my back, but I can tell the muscles are so much stronger, and I can hold correct posture for much longer without pain.
More importantly to most dancers, arms and posture are the biggest things so many dancers ignore or forget. If you don’t have this skill set, you’re going to look like a beginner for certain! Plus, the way she goes through how to do serpentine movements is so thoroughly broken down – even though I’ve been a tribal dancer for years, I learned so much.
Rachel deserves her fame – she’s brilliant at what she does. Buy this product!!! It’s so worth it.

I like this video because it is short and I can work it into my busy schedule. I like the information contained in it. I know the basics of belly dance and have been eager to learn tribal fusion and this dvd really helped not only my posture and arms but also helped me to understand the musculature and movement of my own body. So for that I am very grateful. The downside to this dvd is mainly due to the producers and director. I hate when I am going with the exercises and suddenly the camera switches to a different angle. This gets me all mucked up and I have to start over and remind myself not to pay attention to the camera switch at a particular spot in the exercise. What’s really bad is when they change the angles while she’s explaining and demonstrating choreography. It drives me nuts. Also the voice over is slightly off which I blame production for as well, so if you’re totally frustrated with the camera switches and you decide not to watch the dvd but just to listen and observe your movements in a mirror you will be ever so slightly off the music. Also the guy who’s singing with the drumming, at certain points in the dvd I’d love to be able to throw something at him to get him to hush. Love the drumming. Hate the annoying singer. But that’s just my personal taste. In short, this is great instruction from Brice but the production could be a million times better. If she weren’t so bound to Miles Copeland she could make really great instructional dvd’s.

Rachel Brice is just awesome. I’m so glad she came out with this DVD (her yoga/drills DVD was a bit basic for me). The strengthening section really burns, and I love the combos at the end. This DVD has really inspired me to work harder on my arms, which are often an afterthought. Another must have for any bellydancer!!

My 2nd copy cos’ I gave my first one to my friend who has problem in the back. I use it to do exercise mainly for my shoulder and back. I always love Rachel. She has a certain kind of charisma: cool, in control, feminine. I love all her DVDs. She is one of a kind. I hope she will publish more.
