The card looked good. The show started good. Then, it goes down hill. Orton recieves a seperated shoulder in what could have been a great matchup with edge, Swagger & show go a measly 5 minutes and i would have choose the last two Cena/Batista matches over this one on this night.
Intercontitental Championship
Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston
This was an alright way to open the show. I think kofi could be a great competitor if they wait until the time is right to push him to the main event status, but i don’t see much in McIntyre and i really do not see why he is “the chosen one”. The result of this match was quite unexpected, but nice to see. Decent action, but it could of had more. There were just more pros than cons, it happens. 3.25/5
R-Truth vs. Ted Dibiase
This really could have been saved for raw. This was kind of a filler. Once again, i liked how they are building Dibease into the next “Million Dollar Man”, but this didn’t show his full ability. R-Truth looked decent, but this was nothing out of the ordinary from these two. 3/5
S.E.S. Pledge vs. Punk’s Hair
Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk
As most of you know, the stipulation of this matchup was that if Mysterio lost, he would have to join the “Straight Edge Society”, if Punk lost, he would have to get his head shaved bald. In my opinion, this topped their two previous matches at WrestleMania and Extreme Rules. There were great spots throughout and once again, it just shows how well these two mesh together. While there were some things that brought it down, like the stall for punk’s bleeding, you have to give this one its props, because it is the only main event that lived up to the hype. 4.5/5
Unified Tag Team Championship
The Hart Dynasty vs. Chris Jericho & The Miz
This was the first tag team championship match i was looking forward to in quite a while. I think over time, jericho and the miz could become a decent pairing. This match easily showed that the Hart Dynasty is WWE’s elite tag team, because they mixed very well with “JeriMiz”. Unfortunetly, the crowd was never fully in this one, but i really can’t see why. This match was very well done and it is one of the best on this night. 4/5
Randy Orton vs. Edge
Well, heres where the event gets “lackluster”. Obviously, a lot of critics voiced their opinion about this being match of the night, and i fully agreed. As predicted, the match started off with that slow build and you could tell this was about to get good at any second… oh, but wait…. it pauses…. and pauses… and pauses. After taking a glimpse at orton, he was heavily favoring his arm, which is rumored to be seperated. These two did the best they could with finishing this one out. It’s a huge shame that one of raw’s biggest babyfaces is injured. This one was decent up until the point of orton’s injury, but honestly, i can’t score half a match, because it just isn’t fair. N/R
World Heavyweight Championship
Jack Swagger vs. Big Show
WWE is sort of going in the direction of pushing swagger into the next Brock Lesnar or Kurt Angle, which means he can have a good match with Big Show right? Not neccesarily. This one was around 5 minutes, but it wasn’t that awful. It desplayed some of swagger’s abilitys and talents and show’s dominance, but the lazy and way to overdone disqualification finish completely made this one garbage. Whats left to say about this one? 2.5/5
Diva’s Championship
Eve vs. Maryse
I wasn’t expecting anything from this one. I knew it was simply a filler and it was. They tried and they failed, whats new with the divas today? 1/5
“I Quit” Match for the WWE Championship
John Cena vs. Batista
My question coming into this match was can cena and batista actually put on 3 straight 4-star matches in a row? This one was not neccesarily their best. Like i said in the begenning, i would easily pick their great “Last Man Standing” match over this. Of course, the major problem is cena never looses an “I Quit” match, so of course, this was very predictable. These two had their moments in this one, with some nice spots, but at times, it seems like they were stuck in 1st gear. These two didn’t click as well on the “third act” and the underwelming evening didn’t make matters any better. The ending was a little more satisfying than others, but at the end of the night, this just couldn’t put back what was missing. 3.75/5
Luck sure wasn’t the fate for this ppv. Over The Limit ended a bit of a hot streak WWE had going as this one was plauged by an unfortunate injury to Randy Orton and many dissapointments.

This is the BATMAN & ROBIN of WWE PPV.It is that bad.The only good matches on that card were the CM Punk-Rey Mysterio and the Tag Team Championship match. The rest were CRUD.The DQ ending to the World’s championship match was just a big middle finger to WWE fans. The Double count out to the Randy Orton-Edge match was a big rip-off for Egde and Randy fans everywhere. The ending to the “I Quit” match between John Cena-Batista was so predictable you could see coming 10 miles away.not only that,it was also overbooked & excessive.Don’t get me started the show’s many stoppages for blood thought out the PPV.I rather watch WCW Bash At The Beach 2000 again & again, that is how much I hate this PPV.I give this event a 5 and a half out of 10.

I just wish the wwe ppv’s were cheaper because it certinaly was not worth the forty five dollars I still think this is a pretty good wwe ppv besides orton getting hurt then swagger getting dq’ed I liked the divas match maryse is getting better in the ring I don’t like eve much but whatever maryse is tougher I ordered tna sacrifice 2010 on ppv which was a solid ppv for tna and I thought over the limit would be good but it’s a mixed bag I kinda knew this before I ordered it I wanted to see cena and the harts maybe there worth the forty five dollars I would say also it’s sweet to watch cm punk head shaved over and over by rey a ppv with no undertaker no triple h no hbk he’s gone what do you expect but I like the tag team I quit and diva’s match shocking despite the other reviewer saying the diva’s match was bad it was good back in forth match I would give it 3 stars I don’t like everything wwe does but I will praise the product that I like and say what I don’t like about it
