Throughout his storied career, Hoffman has ignored conventional limitations; instead focusing his efforts on the purity of the sport and the pursuit of “what’s next.” His motivations stem purely from his own ambitions, and even without endorsements, cameras, fame, and fans, Hoffman would still would be working to push the boundaries of gravity. Academy Award nominee Spike Jonze and extreme sport fanatic Johnny Knoxville, along with director Jeff Tremaine, showcase the inner workings and exploits of the man who gave birth to “Big Air.”

This is a bargain priced remarkable piece of BMX history. If you ride a BMX bike and love what is happening with this sport, you owe thanks to Mat. Buy his video biography. It has all of his winning x-games vert finals as bonus footage, and they are as Jaw-dropping Awe-inspiring to watch as Mat’s attempts to challenge gravity on a BMX bike.

Mat Hoffman is the man for a reason. The flying Condor that soars higher than ANYONE in self-powered extreme sports!

A must see for any BMX fan of any nature, and for those who don’t know a lot about freestyle bmx, there’s a whole history. Including NEW interviews from Bob Haro.

Awesome documentary about Mat Hoffman. Anyone interested in “freestyle” BMX needs to add this to their collection. My only complaint is it needs to be longer.

I’ve several bike’s DVDs and this is one of the best that I have.

The scenes are great but the history behind the man is one of the best histories about sports I had heard.

I strongly recommend this DVD not just for the ones that enjoy sports bikes but for all sports’ enthusiastic.
