YES, FOR THE 27TH TIME IN THEIR GLORIOUS HISTORY, THE NEW YORK YANKEES HAVE CLIMBED BASEBALL’S SUMMIT AND ARE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS AGAIN.. THIS DVD SHALL, FOR EVER, HAVE THE EVIDENCE AS TO THEIR 2009 DOMINANCE OF BASEBALL. HOW QUICKLY THE PHILLIES REALIZED THEY WERE NOT PLAYING THE D-RAYS THIS YEAR, IT WAS LIKE THE BEAT UP THE LITTLE BROTHER IN THE SCHOOLYARD LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR THE BIG BROTHER SHOWED AND WHIPPED THEM GOOD. I buy this every year – regardless of which team wins. Always informative and has GREAT behind-the-scenes footage. A Must for true baseball fans. An ABSOLUTE MUST for fans of the team who wins.

This series was yet another proud chapter in the history of the New York Yankees. Johnny Damon’s steal of both 2nd & 3rd base in the ninth inning of game 4 will be remembered as one of those magical series moments—certainly a turning point in that game and possibly the series. Twenty-seven world series championships and forty American League pennents—-unmatched by any other team!
