My daughter and I fell in love with A Little Princess which was on VHS at the service center where we brought our car for a fix. We didn’t get to see the whole thing, so we absolutely had to get the DVD. I was thrilled to see the option of the double feature with The Secret Garden at a great price. I purchased two copies of this double feature. One for home and one for a gift. I should have known the price was too good to be true! When I opened my disk I found an unmarked disk — unusual, no graphics on the disk. When I got to the menu there was no option to play The Secret Garden. We have tried everything and this second movie just can’t be found on the disk. We tried fast forwarding all the way through the last scene of A Little Princess to see if The Secret Garden was tacked at the end. No luck.
I wondered if mine was just a freak disk, so I opened the second disk that I purchased as a gift — same problem! We’ve tried both disks on two different computers and two different DVD players with no luck. I’d go with the more pricey option of purchasing these as two separate movies.

Despite the claims on the packaging that this includes both widescreen and fullscreen versions of each film, it only includes the fullscreen versions.
With as visual of a director as Cuaron, “A Little Princess” should only be seen in its original unmodified presentation. Seek out the individual releases for each of these instead, to get them in their proper aspect ratio.

Very dissapointed, how do I get “A little Princess”, I love both movies, but when I opened the cd after weeks of arrival, to my surprise there was two cds for “The Secret Garden”. Secret Garden was great, but that’s not what I wanted I ordered the family double feature, instead I received the famiy singel feature two cd’s with the same title, I don’t need two “Secret Garden” cds. How can I get back my “A Little Pricness”, I don’t want to pay again, and I had already thrown out the packaging slip, and the cd has been opened?

I love both of these movies, but I was quite disappointed because there is a very misleading print on the back that says there is both widescreen as well as fullscreen inside. I’m just glad that these aren’t my all-time favorite movies, or I’d really be disappointed in the false advertising. So, heads up, they’re both full screen and not wide. Otherwise, love the movies. The Secret Garden is one of my favorite stories.
