You guys think that Pokemon is the worst anime of all time? What about FLCL? Digimon? Nope, none of them are as bad as Yugioh GX. It is the biggest afront to anime, and is one of the reasons why our society is degenerating. Anyway, this is the worst anime ever because it is basically a combination of Yugioh and Digimon. How, you may ask? Read on and find out.
Let’s start with the characters. The main character, Jaden Yuki, is THE WORST anime character ever made because he is so stupid that you wouldn’t believe it. His friends, Syrus and Chumley, are also asinine. In fact, the only good character is Zane, everyone else is ridiculous. Now for the plot. What happens is that Jaden gets a card from Yugi, the protagonist from the original, and then it takes off, if you can say that. What I’m insinuating is that the ENTIRE show takes place at a dueling school. WTF? Well if you think that is bad, it gets a lot worse.
The reason that this is similar to Digimon is because it is extremely moronic and the monsters on the cards talk to the players, similar to how the Digimon talk. The enemies are also extremely cheesy and each duel lasts two episodes AT MOST. For example, the main antagonist from Season 1 (the episodes aren’t on this DVD) depends on the “monsters” from the cards to make him younger so that he can take over the world. Isn’t that ridiculous? Also, there is no drama, change in emotion, suspense, or any of that. It’s just extremely sugar-coated bubblegum image that would make even Dora the Explorer puke.
If you want a better anime made for children, go for Spirited Away. Chihiro may have been bratty in the beginning, but she wasn’t stupid and there was drama, change in emotion, and passion. GX has NONE of that.
The news isn’t all bad: this fad will be done soon enough, and then we can forget it ever existed.

Wow I don’t have cable so I’ve never seen GX, and yesterday when I was picking up the new 4th season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (I saw my frends TMNT 4th season and had to get one myself) , and then I came across something I could hardly believe. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX! I was like WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I bought it and watched it and believe me, this first season is the best (although it is short). So this DVD contains the Complete 6 Episode Season before it got cancelled. I wonder why it got cancelled anyway because my friend said they replaced it with Pokemon on the Cartoon Network. I think they cancelled it so early because Prfoessor Croler puts on lipstick even though hes a guy, and the Shadow Duelist was kinds starnge. But anyway I enjoyed this season, and wish they could countinue the series and make a new DVD-Movie so I could see who was Alexis’ brother and what kind of deck did Bastion have. So anyway here’s some extra info you mgiht want:
This 100% American Series (The orinigal YuGiOh was made in America too but the Japanese helped by the Capsule Monsters) includes 6 episodes, whcih are:

And it will have more scenes that 4kids or Cartoon Netowrk ( CN ) probabely DELTED from the television broadcast so I suggest you watch it in Japanese instead of that dubbed crap that 4kids show.

If you like Yu-Gi-Oh! than you’ll love this! This DVD contains 6 Epsiodes. This DVD is so awsome I can’t describe it! I watch it on TV whenever possible I’ve memorized every duel in the series! I don’t know why they replaced it with Pokemon GX was so good…. BUY THIS DVD!
