Studio: Starz/sphe Release Date: 09/23/2008 Run time: 92 minutesWubbzy is an infectiously lovable cartoon character with a kooky crooked tail that lives in a CGI world of unusual looking animal characters, pink and purple trees, and buildings with zig-zaggy walls. An impulsive young creature, Wubbzy greets each day with enthusiasm and a healthy dose of curiosity and is always on the lookout for a fun new experience. When trouble arises, Wubbzy counts on his good friends Widgit, a lover of machines and master inventor, and Walden, a science whiz, to help him creatively solve even the most difficult problem. In these eight humor-filled episodes, Wubbzy and his friends engage in everything from trying to straighten out Wubbzy’s crooked tail to building the fastest road racer ever, stopping a volcano from erupting, and caring for a pet fleegle. While things rarely work out like the three friends plan, they always manage to have loads of fun while discovering the value of things like friendship, liking oneself, helping others, truthfulness, self-restraint, and taking responsibility for one’s actions. A Nick Jr. program with huge appeal to preschoolers and their parents, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! promises to rival the popularity of Blues Clues and Dora the Explorer. (Ages 3 to 7) –Tami Horiuchi

This is such a cute show, with catchy music (that both my kids love to dance to). My 5 year old sings the song all day. Each show has a nice moral lesson, usually about how to treat your friends. The plot is enough to hold the 5 year olds attention, but colorful and musical enough to hold the attention of my 16 month old.
Very cute and creative characters!

Hooray!! I, and my children (3 1/2 years and 20 months), are thrilled that they have put out a Wubbzy DVD. They just love this show, the characters, their adventures and the songs at the end of each episode. This DVD is sure to make its way into their video rotation. And it’s good entertainment for them, that I too don’t mind watching as well.

We are so glad that they finally came out with a DVD for purchase. We have waited a long time and really enjoy watching all the episodes on this DVD over and over. My 3 y/o son loves the cute characters and I love the lessons that Wubbzy teaches about how to be a good friend that respects others, obeys rules, and is happy with who he is and what he has. It is not easy to find shows that are appropriate and that the kids love this much.

Had no idea what “Wubbzy” was – I’m not particularly culturally attuned to stuff like this – but decided to pick this up for my young sons. Silly, funny, not horribly obnoxious, an meets my 2-year-old’s expectations, which are admittedly not very demanding.
An engaging, harmless diversion for toddlers/very little children. Always fun to listen to Grey DeLisle’s voice, too.
