Where s God when I m S-Scared? contains two hilarious, fully computer-animated stories that teach kids a biblical perspective on handling everyday fears. Tales From The Crisper : After watching a scary Frankencelery movie, five year-old Junior Asparagus gets some help from an unlikely duo. Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber come to Junior s rescue with a rollicking song, teaching him that God is bigger than anything he might be afraid of. Daniel and the Lions Den : The second segment takes us from Junior s bedroom to ancient Babylon as the VeggieTales gang stages a musical adaptation of the classic Bible story. Larry the Cucumber, playing the role of Daniel, finds himself in deep trouble thanks to the king s conniving wisemen, a trio of slippery scallions. In the end, Daniel learns that even in the lions den, he is still in God s hand!

This movie is exactly what I was looking for. My son has nightmares especially after watching certain movies (including Disney). Both of my children love this movie and go around singing “God is bigger than the boogie man” on a regular basis. It is nice to remind him when he wakes up at night that God is looking after him as well as his parents and he is safe. It seems to make him feel a lot better and he goes back to sleep. I definitely recommend this movie even if you don’t have a child that tends to have nightmares. It is fun and teaches a good lesson.

If you’re looking for a video that has good Christian family values and teaches kids how to handle situations while making it fun (and funny), then you’ve found it in the Veggie Tales collection. Where’s God When I’m S-Scared? is the first of many educational and entertaining products from Big Idea Productions. They are fun for the whole family because not only are they fun for the kids but there are jokes and comparisons that you can only make if you’ve been around for awhile (like us adults!). My husband got hooked on them before our son ever came along! These videos are 100% safe so you don’t have to worry about their content and the questions you’ll be asked about what they’ve been seeing. Well worth the investment because your kids (and you) will watch them over and over again!

I bought this dvd for my son, we owned a couple other veggie tales dvds so he was familiar with them. We were given the book, “Where’s God when I’m scared?” and he was really into the monsters and such pictured and kept asking to watch it. Lucky for him this was right before his birthday so I was able to order it and give it as a gift! He loves it and watches it often. the Dvd also features the story of Daniel in the lions den.
