Okay, so we have the DVD. There are some goofs in some/all the episodes. But the episode, LITTLE BEAR’S MERMAID, it has the most goofs! Here are a list of them:
1) It’s very odd that Cat nor Owl didn’t wanna swim in this episode ’cause they did and had fun in FOLLOW THE LEADER!
2) Little Bear told his friend’s to pretend to sleep so pretty soon the mermaid would come out and they would see her. But still, they act if they really ARE asleep!
3) It just doesn’t make sense that Little Bear didn’t decide to wake up his friends and indroduce the mermaid to them! She could still be IN the water when his friend’s see her!!
4) How could the mermaid know Little Bear’s name if he never even mentioned it to her?!
5) DO Little Bear’s friend’s believe him that he saw & swam with the mermaid?

Well like the other reviewers we love this DVD at our house. My 2.5 year old daughter asks for it over and over, and her older cousins like to watch it at our house, too. Each tale involves rain in some way but it’s a nice variety of characters and story lines and holds my daughter’s attention the whole time. We did not like Little Bear – Little Bear’s Band (see my review of it for details) or The Little Bear Movie (a few parts were too scary) as much as Rainy Day Tales. As a mother of two in a small apartment, what the kids watch over and over, I watch over and over, and I’m very happy to have found a DVD that does not get on my nerves, no matter how much it’s played. In fact, I even enjoy it.

My 2 year old daughter loves this video. The short stories hold her attention and teach her life lessons too.

I bought this movie for my brother for Christmas; Little Bear is not only educational and imaginative for his mental category, but very peaceful and serene. I think he liked it! =)
