Driven by his promise to a heartbroken young boy, Goku completes his training under Master Korin and prepares for a brutal rematch with Mercenary Tao! These two powerful warriors trade blows in a furious flurry of Dodon Rays and Kamehameha Waves, but that’s only the beginning of this adventure.

The Red Ribbon Army continues to cast a dark shadow across the land as they inch ever closer to attaining ultimate power. Only Goku can halt their reign of terror and resurrect a fallen friend, but first he’ll have to fight for possession of the seven Dragon Balls!

To complete his quest, Goku must beat a fortune-teller at her own game; slam the door on Demon Land; tame the dread Inoshikacho, and survive a beating from a masked dead man. His journey will be filled with danger, but with each victory, Goku gains the strength needed to emerge victorious from the upcoming World Martial Arts Tournament!

Don’t miss the coming of age of the greatest warrior the world has ever known in Dragon Ball Season Three!

Thank You Funimation! Another 31 episodes for our delight. For this box set, Master Roshi is on the cover and I think it’s a good choice. As another reviewer stated, this has the rest of the Commander Red saga, the complete Fortuneteller Baba saga and some of the Tien Shinhan saga and there will probably be two more box sets to come! Hopefully we don’t have to wait long for them!

This season is really great! Because you see Goku battling it out with Tao & the Red Ribbion Army! There is drama here & action!!

I don’t like, however, the part where they meet baba, cuz she makes them fight with demons or whatever, so those part suck! The rest is amazing!

Like I said, if your more into the impact then this is not really for you, if you want to know the origin & the little other details then this is awesome for you!

-The thing I love the MOST about DB/Z/GT is that it is like a Christian show!!

Goku is the one who always leads everyone the correct way, He is the savior of the world! (Symbolic to God leading us the right way & being our Savior!)

Goku trains & helps his friends to become good fighters (Symbolic to God “training” us in His Word)

Goku trusts in his friends knowing they will do the right thing. (Symbolic to God trusting that His true followers will obey Him & go His way)

Goku always shows love & mercy even to his enemies & evil people. (Symbolic to God showing all us people, whom have broken His Perfect Law -The Ten Commandments- and yet He still gives us Mercy to flee from sin & follow Him)

Goku believes anyone can change their life from bad, to good. (Symbolic to fleeing from our sins & following the Will of God)

Goku was like a father, always protecting people from evil (Symbolic to how God protects us from evil & when the storms comes, He’s still with us)

Everytime it seems hopeless & like evil will prevail & there is no way out, Goku is always there to help! (Symbolic to no matter how strong the temptation or urge is, God always provides a way out for us because He is with us)

When the Saiyans or other fighters feel like there is no hope, they go into a new level of strength (Symbolic to when you are weakest you are strongest)

Like with us when we feel we can’t resist the temptation or do the Will of God, we still press on and reach a new level or strength…..haha, like a Spiritual Super Saiyan, being much stronger into & with God then we were before.

When the fighters are fighting & they feel there is no hope, someone else usually comes to the aid (Symbolic to God will never leave us & He always provides help)

DBZ is not only a great show but I look at it through a Christian sense, look at it as a Christian sense, it’s symbolic, it’ll make it 10x better! I know it did for me!

I already saw these episodes from the discontinued set. I’m waiting for two Piccolo arcs to drop before I buy any of these though since those are the stories I left off on. This series is great though, IMHO Dragon Ball is better than Dragon Ball Z. It has a better story and features actual adventure not just happenings that revolve around one major boss fight.

Anyway, I truly recommend this series to anyone that likes the fights of Dragon Ball but wish the character development and story was better.

This should really be the bases for all tv shows on dvd. Keep relasing them every 2-3 months. Its just great. I love dragonball. Its sooooo funny and while it not as big on action a like dragonball z (yet) its still a better show. I love dragonball 10 out of 10 and DBZ 9.0 out of 10. Season 3 finishes of the red ribbion army and its really good show. I highly recommond it.

I have always loved Dragonball Z since it debuted in America in 1996. I own every episode and have watched the series beginning to end more times than I can count. The crazy thing is I never watched Dragonball until now in 2010. I absolutely love it. I bought the season 1, 2, and 3 box sets and I am addicted to it. It changes the way I look at DBZ, I love them both. My only problem is waiting for the last 2 box sets. I wish I became a fan later this year :) . I could watch it on the net but waiting 2-3 months will make it an even greater treat and my anticipation will be through the roof. I love the Japanese music they have, its different than the American music in that there are a lot more quiet scenes in DB than the Faulconer dub of DBZ. In the BF DBZ dub they play music for everything in this there are more quiet scenes. Its great!
