I had to return the tv…It did not work out for the space I was
putting in(on top of my refrigerator).

Works great for exercise DVDs. I originally bought it for the sewing room, but I haven’t gotten around to getting it set up there, because it is perfect for exrcising (2 different locations in the house). As others have reported, the response time to change channels or anything else is a little slow, but not intolerable. Overall, love it!

This was an excellent ordering experience. The TV is working very well in the kitchen, and fits perfect with the existing decor. It’s DVD player functions very well, and it is a neat additional feature. Overall and surprisingly, I am very satisfied with my purchase and the expediting process. My needs were met in a two day delivery time and everything was in order and in good condition. Kudos to Amazon.

Received my new Toshiba TV/DVD in two days, as promised by Amazon. The set-up was a breeze and the TV automatically loaded the available channels as soon as I plugged it in!
The white color looks great in my kitchen and the size is perfect to sit on the corner of the counter where I can aim it toward the cooking area or swivel it slightly to be viewed in the eating area. The picture is sharp and the color is great. The viewing angle on the sides is good and does not fade out as soon as I step off-center as a previous TV I had did. The sound is good, although I sometimes have to increase the volume for some channels (which is their problem and not the fault of the TV set). I have not tried the DVD as yet, however.
With regard to some of the complaints in other reviews of this TV: The red “off” light/blue “on” light is not the problem some people seem to indicate. The light is about 1/4 inch wide by 1 inch long, is below the screen and I find it hardly noticable. I look at the screen, not the light. All my TVs have an indicator light of varying size. Also, some people have commented on the length of time it takes for the TV to come on or to change screens. There is a delay, but that seems to be a part of this type of TV. I have four flat screen TVs and they all take several seconds to come on and there is a few-second delay when changing channels.
All in all, I am very satisfied with my new Toshiba TV/DVD and would not hesitate to recommend it highly!

We just got this today and we’re quite happy so far. Easy to set up and use. Picture is nice and clear with the volume range perfect. My only complaint which has nothing to do with the tv, is that this was shipped in the tv’s box only. I was surprised that nothing was broken as the taping on the box was cut through and there was a good sized tear out of the box. But, all seems to be fine so far. I am keeping the packaging just in case.
