Be careful when buying large tvs from amazon and their third party sellers. I had issues with this tv from day one and with no thanks to Amazon or 6 ave electronics and am stuck with a horrible product and a horrible taste in my mouth for amazon and 6 ave electronics.

I am very happy with my purchase of this tv. It has met or exceeded what I expected from it. I watch movies and also play video games on it and the picture is excellent. The only thing negative I would have to say is that the tv is hard to see when sun gets on it because of the glass front, however I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old and the glass will save the tv so I have no real complaints…Great TV

Searched, Searched and Searched on line, stores etc. Compared Samsung, Sony, Toshiba and was very close to buying a Toshiba and then Consumer Reports updated their TV reviews and added this LG SL80 and rated it very high. So did a quick review to validate their information and then bought 2 actually.
Love the slim profile and pivotability.

I love this TV. Slim design, why would you pay so much more for LED LCD TV?. With the glass finish it looks beautiful on the wall even when it is turned off. Picture is awesome. The picture does look unnatural at 240 Hz, but so do all the other brands. I just leave mine at 120Hz, which I think is perfect. Great deal from Amazon, received very quickly. I love this TV!
