just got this about two weeks ago. its just an ok system. the speakers suck, the bass is really bad. the wireless speaker system shuts down if someone gets a phone call. the over all sound is not so good, sounds more like your in a acoustic hall instead of a theater, no rich sounds come out of it. total lack of adjustments for sound or speakers. a $50.00 boombox sounds better, why i only gave 2 stars. the dvd is ok, its pretty average not good or bad. the remote is terrible though. i thought this system would go well with my sony LCD tv, boy was i wrong. its easy to hook up i will give them that. my sony TV is very nice and good quality, thought their home theater system should be of good quality too, nope i was wrong. stay away from their sound systems they dont even toss in cables to hook it up. lack of inputs sucks too, i knew that going in so can not knock them for that. there are so many better options out there for less money. two weeks in and i am already thinking about what i should upgrade to when bluray’s pricing comes down, because you can not hook up a bluray or anything else to it. i know my upgrade will not be a sony system thats for sure. looks like i will upgrading sooner than i thought. the wireless speakers working and not working is very irritating, even when they work they sound like crap which also irritating. over all this system has more irritating things about it then enjoyable thing…

This produict is extremely difficult to operate for an elderly person to understand the different functios of this system. I dont fully understand why its so difficult to understand. Why so many different options. Am not happy with system. If I had it to do over again would have passed on buying syste. Larry M Houtz
