We had a very limited depth space to place our center speaker for our new surround sound system. We looked everywhere and could not find a better speaker than Polk for the size restraints we had. The sound is excellent, installation easy and we painted the cover of the speaker to match our wall with no problem – just make sure to spray and not use a brush! If you are thinking of using this speaker for music listening only I would suggest you shop around, we chose Polk because the sound is sharp and clear and excellent for our surround sound system that we use primarily for TV and movies.

Just finished my first home theater. I used 3 TC265i as left/center/right and 2 TC65i for the rear surrounds. Mounted the center vertically, which worked very well. Powered with Pioneer Elite SC-25. Oh, don’t forget the Polk Audio PSW505 sub woofer. The sound is just totally amazing! These are very easy to install and sound awesome. I was worried about using in-walls, never having had them before, and researched the whole thing to death. I am very very happy with end result.
Be careful when positioning these – wall studs can be a bummer.

I have these speakers installed as the left, right and center channels in my home theater 7.1 setup. By no means am I an audiophile expert, so my review is highly subjective. Based on the role that these speakers play in my home theater, I can’t think of any negatives associated with the sound quality.
