This refurb machine comes with only a 90 day warranty, was complicated to set up and didn’t work once we did. S&H is nonrefundable. Insult to injury is a 15% restocking fee. Stay away from this one!

This is the worst dvd player I have ever owned. It doesn’t play several of my discs (they skip, even though they aren’t dirty), and it is extremely slow. I recently played a disc, and they machine froze up. I tried to open the player, and the door wouldn’t open. I unplugged the machine, and plugged it back in, and the player still didn’t open. It also says that there is “no disc”. I hate this player. It is a piece of garbage. Take my advice – don’t waste your money on one. Buy a Toshiba instead.

I got this recorder because it had a hard disk and was touted as easy to use. Wrong!!!. Terrible instruction book. I spent nearly six hours on the phone with customer service just trying cable hookups to get it to respond at all. After that it wouldnt establish its program. It had a crazy requirement that you had to leave your TV off for 24 hours for it to establish a program. It wouldnt work without the program(stupid requirement) I had only one TV so that was a real annoyance.I got so angry and disgusted that I just set it aside. Eventually after the warranty had expired I found it had come out of the box defective so I might as well as set fire to the $400. Save your money dont buy Panasonic

I bought the DMR-EZ475V 3 years ago for $300. It S-U-C-K-S and has ever since I bought it. Very user-UNfriendly. It is ERRATIC, UNRELIABLE, and a piece of JUNK. I’ve had nothing but frustrations with its operation from day 1.

The controls aren’t the same as every other DVD player I have owned. Example, if you want to bring up the menu of the DVD you have to hit the “direct navigator” button, no menu button.
I never have been able to get the sd card slot to work. And a device in this class should have eject funtionallity on the remote.
