Three tales of horror: a hit and run driver in the hitchhiker a wooden indian on the warpath in ol chief woodenhead & four friends whose vacation on a secluded lake turns into a nightmare in the raft. Features: widescreen theatrical trailer photo gallery. Studio: Starz/sphe Release Date: 06/25/2002 Starring: Lois Chiles Run time: 89 minutes Rating: RWhat is it about hitchhikers that makes them such a sure-fire bet for horror? This question is addressed in the final segment of Creepshow 2, another Stephen King-George Romero collaboration. “The Hitchhiker” is the simplest and best of the three tales on display here, with Lois Chiles as a cheating wife who just can’t seem to get rid of a hitchhiker… no matter how hard she tries. The collection gets off to a slow start with “Old Chief Wood’n Head,” a sleepy story of Native American justice. “The Raft” is a passable teens-in-peril number, but it worked better on the page than on screen. Romero adapted the King stories but emphatically did not direct, which accounts for the drop-off from the kicky fun of the first Creepshow. King appears as a dimwitted truck driver–a foreshadowing of Maximum Overdrive? In any case, this one’s for diehard fans only. –Robert Horton

Not once has anyone ever seen such a collection of low-budget wierdness. You can’t blame the actors; they are pretty good. Blame the lame storylines, lousy music, and stupid props.
Just trust me. Not scary, not thrilling, not worth the time. The only thing great here was the cute topless girl, to be honest.

“Creepshow 2″ is anything but creepy. This is more of a comedy than anything else. I thought the part where the woman keeps running over this poor hitchiker was about the funniest program I have ever seen. Chief Woodenhead wasn’t scary at all in my opinion, but I kinda liked the fact that those punks got what they deserved…Chief Woodenhead is the only one that doesn’t try to be very funny…still, it wasn’t scary though. And “The Raft” about that sludge in the lake was also more funny than anything else.
The problem with “Creepshow 2″ is that it isn’t creepy or scary in the slightest. While the original “Creepshow” contained some elements of horror, “Creepshow 2″ is more of a dark comedy. For instance, in “The Raft” part, the sludge/blob eats one of the kids and then the sludge burps. Wow, that’s so funny. “Creepshow 2″ just isn’t scary and when it’s not funny, it’s boring…so, in reality, “Creepshow 2″ should have been called “Comedyshow” because there is nothing creepy about it.

this sequel in name only is the low end of horror anthologys and the bottom of the river as far as scares. all the fun of the first is gone and what we are left with is this at 90mins.,much to long movie that just sits there and goes nowhere. no stars for this junk!!!!!!

Ok, I wrote a review of CREEPSHOW 2 not that long ago, and I just read a review by “Tyreek, from the United States of America” who I think called me a “loser” and with “low-quality” opinions”. Whatever, TYREEK youre a low quality writer! I can say anything I want about this film! And you, with your poor “taste” of films, can’t even spell director George Romero’s last name! RAMANO! He’s not a Soprano, you know! Anyway, later people. Hopefully you should think wisely by reviewing a good movie and not a bad one!

Whom ever these losers are with these low-quality opinions need to leave the real citisisum to the real movie buffs. I think that these two can really scare the pants off their viewers’. I love creepshow like annie wilks loved paul shelton. Ha!, that one’s for stephen. I think that this goes down in the history of good horror’s. No one these days can scare people like King and Ramano. I hope that stephen king’s new horrow series on abc can capture the horror essence of the old classics. Jesus!,no one can scare us today like King did when I was a kid. Even as a woman today I still get chill’s from his classic and wonderfully crafted horrors. Keep up the good work king and ramano!!!!
