In either case we have sophomoric acting & a disjointed script with attempts at light humor. Or was it satire? No matter, hard to tell because it failed at both. Green screen generated backdrops were obviously low budget as shown by a total of two or three CG effects - blurry fast people and dying sparkly, already dead people. Both effects seen in countless other fantasy movies the past 8 years. The movie is also one improbable event after another including a librarian whose brain contains a data base the size of the Library of Congress. On the positive side: a pretty good ending where for the first time there was some emotive acting.
