Este film es extraordinario con secuencias inolvidables como la de Nikita
en el restaurante Chez maxim o la del hotel en venecia.
Uno de los mejores film de la historia del cine. La recomiendo a ojos cerrados.

This is an incredibly well done movie, much more intense than the US remake, “Point of no Return”.
The real star here is Jean Reno, but his interaction with Anne Parrilaud and the other players in this movie brings them up to a higher level. I am fluent in Fench but my wife is not, so we have the subtitles turned on when we watch it. The english subtitles, although not always strictly accurate, are more accurate than the english dubbing, and it is well worth reading the subtitles and leaving the french sound track on. We have probably watched this movie 4 times in the past 5 years, and it is still fresh each time.

This is probably the crowning achievement of Luc Besson’s work. Leon (The Professional european cut) comes close…but there is something more to Nikita’s depth of character. Leon went more action, and the 5th Element went all out glam.

La femme Nikita, is one of those movies you HAVE to see. written and directed by Luc Besson, the guy that brought you the professional, and the 5th element. it tells the story of a girl doing the wrong thing, and polished by the government to do the wrong things for them. they pretty much create a James Bond kind of character out a punk in the streets.
Of course, this is not a James Bond movie, because, a. withing the fantasy of the movie there is a crude realism in the violence, that makes it more of a drama than an action film, but in a good way. and B. this movie has more of a personal story with a character that goes trough a transformation, which you follow, and you see her suffer the consequences of t=her actions, and the reactions to what she does.
This is an excellent movie and I would recommended to anyone that likes action flicks, and a good story driven drama!
